MoMMy MoMeNtS....

So I am sitting here on the computer right now, and I wish I had my camera. The baby is asleep for her nap and Mckenzie is just sitting here quitely next to me on the floor eating her grilled cheese sandwich and chips.  All of a sudden it gets quiet and I look down and she is laying on the floor slowly eating her chips as she is falling asleep. It is hilarious! I live for these moments..Just like the song says on my blog..by Trace Atkins....your gonna miss this...your gonna want this back! and I know that I get frustrated daily about doing the same things over and over. Cleaning, laundry, wiping up messes, but I know I better enjoy this time in my life cause it will go by so fast and I know I will end up missing it. So that is it for now just a little thought. I am still trying to download my Easter Pictures off of Sky's moms camera so I can post! Toodles...

How funny!
I love seeing little kids fall asleep in the most random places! Grilled cheese and chips? YUM! She has a great mommy.
I really hope I get to see you guys when you're out here to visit! I'll talk to Danielle to make it happen...

ang- i LOVE that you feel the same way that i do, and most mothers i guess. sometimes it is hard to get through each day, and at the same time i wish they would just slow down so i could stay with each moment. i hope that you were able to hear elder ballard's conference talk yesterday afternoon. it was SOO perfect for mom's like us. i cried my way through it!! i hope you are well. miss you. ~brooke (also, i put up some pics from ro on my blog, you should look... lots of memories!)

Thanksgiving Day...

Thanksgiving has come and gone, and so has my family. We were so blessed to be able to have them come out from Utah to join us (even if it was for 3 short days). We had so much fun just being together and hanging out. Steve made the turkey which was really impressive and the rest of us all pitched in to make the meal a delight. Bette's yams are always one of the favorites of the meal.We also got more aquainted with the WII, especially Sky's g-pa. He was so fun to watch at tennis.. We did miss Kip & Katie who were in Utah and my bro. Robby (who is now devoting his life to delivering christmas packages for Fed Ex..who knows he may just drop something by at your house! I love the holidays and I am so grateful to be able to share it with those I love most!
